Dia Internacional da Mulher
Este famoso 8 de Março provoca-me sempre sentimentos contraditórios. Os dias de "qualquer coisa" dizem sempre respeito a minorias desfavorecidas ou a causas desesperadas para as quais é sempre necessário chamar a atenção. Eu gostava que a mulher não fosse nada disso. Além do mais há uma série de equívocos neste dia. O que é que se comemora e porquê quando se oferece, por exemplo, uma flor a uma mulher, neste dia? Um apaixonado quer agradar, um marido quer reconhecer a companheira e a mãe dos seus filhos, amigas que comemoram juntas querem, na sua cumplicidade, sentir que neste dia têm o direito de se mimar... Tudo isto é a mulher e muito mais. Profissional competente (alguns patrões também reconhecem isso neste dia), cidadã activa (pois é, os partidos também celebram). Tudo isto é a mulher, todos os dias. Não uma causa ou uma minoria desfavorecida. O homem também é muita coisa, todos os dias. Alguém se lembrou de fazer o Dia Internacional do Homem?
O meu feminismo será talvez estranho, mas eu acho que, num mundo justo, a mulher e o homem devem ser o melhor que possam ser em todas as vertentes da sua vida ( e serem reconhecidos com tal)! Utopia? Talvez... Mas não me parece que o Dia Internacional da Mulher ou do Homem vá contribuir grandemente para a minha utopia. Porque todos ficamos muito mais descansados depois de, num dia do ano, oferecermos uma flor e sermos gentis para as mulheres à nossa roda. E os outros dias?
